Outrage as teacher savagely beats little girl, 6, over spelling mistake leaving her with two black eyes

A VIETNAMESE teacher is facing the sack after using a ruler to brutally beat a six-year-old girl over a spelling mistake, The Sun reports. The girl – identified only as T. in local media needed hospital treatment for severe bruising under her eyes.

据《太阳报》报道，越南一名六岁女孩因拼写错误被老师用直尺残忍殴打，而伤人教师即将面临被解雇的命运。当地媒体在有关报道中用“T”来称呼这名女孩，据悉她需要继续待在医院，以治疗眼底严重的淤伤。

Her teacher, Tran Thi Thu Tra, flew into a rage when she saw the youngster struggling with a word during a spelling test. But instead of helping her, Tra waited for the girl to get it wrong and then lashed her across the face. Education officials have suspended the teacher who works at the Phin Ngan Elementary School and say she could be dismissed after an investigation.

在一次拼写测试中，Tran Thi Thu Tra（注：小女孩老师）因为看到小女孩无法拼出某个单词而大发雷霆。但她不仅没有帮助小女孩，反而等到小女孩拼错单词后对其面部进行了多次狠击。当地教育部门官员已经勒令对该名教师进行停职检查，并表示调查过后就会将其辞退。

Bat Xat education bureau said: “Strict measures must be brought out to purge school of violence.” T.’s mother – Chao Ke May – said: “Two of her friends helped her home from school and she was in pain.” She added: “Her face was swelling and there were bruises near her eyes. She was very upset and frightened.”

Bat Xat教育局发表声明说：“必须采取严厉措施来彻底解决校园暴力的问题。”“T”的母亲晁可梅（音）告诉记者：“当时她非常痛苦，在她两个朋友的护送下，她才能回家。她的脸肿得很厉害，眼睛附近有很严重的淤伤。她非常不安、害怕。”

Teacher Tra told officials she had apologised to her pupil’s family and offered to pay all their medical expenses for T’s treatment.

伤人教师Tra对教育部门官员表示，说她已经向学生家庭道歉，并且愿意承担T后续治疗的所需费用。
